Renewal Readiness: Attestation

As part of the annual permit renewal application process, registrants are required to attest to meeting certain requirements and declare that all information they have provided in their renewal application is accurate and truthful.

The CRNA believes attestation enhances trust in the nursing profession by increasing professional accountability, ultimately contributing to the delivery of safe, competent and ethical care.

The CRNA conducts quality assurance (QA) reviews to confirm that registrants continue to meet registration requirements. All attestations may be subject to this quality assurance review process, and therefore, all registrants should be prepared to provide evidence of any attestations made during the renewal process, should they be asked to do so.

If a registrant is asked to provide evidence to support an attestation, the CRNA will work with the individual, providing clear instructions and support throughout the QA process.
