Nurse Practitioner (NP) Week represents a time each year to celebrate the contributions of NPs, and to bring awareness to the role of NPs in Canada. From Nov. 10-16, visit our social media channels to learn about how we interact with and support NPs in our role as a regulator.
The number of NPs practising in Alberta has been on the rise over the last couple of years, with over 1,050 NPs currently registered with the CRNA. NPs make important contributions to Alberta's health-care system through their commitment to safe, competent and ethical care.
The CRNA has the utmost respect and appreciation for nurse practitioners. This week, we would like to take the time to recognize your contributions and express our collective gratitude for your dedication to providing high quality care in Alberta.
Thank you for your commitment to the nursing profession and to excellence in the provision of care.
