Fitness to Practise

You must be fit to practise, and you are responsible for maintaining your own fitness to practise throughout the year. Advise the CRNA, during the year or at renewal, if you:

  • Have a physical or mental health condition or disorder that impairs your ability to provide nursing care.
  • Have an addiction to or dependence to alcohol, drugs or other chemicals that impairs your ability to provide nursing care.

If one of the above situations applies to you, your application will be escalated for review by the registrar.
