The CNPE examination is offered in Edmonton and in Calgary. It is a computerized examination comprised of 170 - 190 multiple choice questions. The questions are either stand alone or based on a case presentation. The exam is written over a single four hour session.
Candidates may withdraw from the exam in advance, up to and including the scheduled date of the exam, before the exam begins. Withdrawing from the exam is not considered an exam sitting.
Failure to appear for the exam without notifying CARNA that you are withdrawing may result in the loss of your complete exam fee.
