CARNA supports the development of specialty practice groups (SPGs) by registered nurses (RNs) and Nurse Practitioners (NPs) who:
SPGs are valuable to the promotion of the profession, to enhancing quality of care and standards of practice, and the development of knowledge and competency through sharing among peers.
CARNA recognizes that the expertise of SPGs provides support for decision-making on relevant issues. These groups also provide networking opportunities to RNs and NPs who work in a variety of practice settings.
To be recognized by CARNA as a specialty practice group, an application process must be completed. Please contact Meagan LaRiviere at firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
If you would like more information from an SPG please log into MyCARNA and update your online profile.
