In partnership with the Canadian Nurses Association (CNA), CARNA will host and facilitate a workshop in January 2020 designed to help emerging and established nurse leaders tackle the tough work of influencing organizational policy and broader public policy in Alberta and beyond. In alignment with the Nightingale bicentennial year and the ‘Year of the Nurse’, the two-day workshop will provide an opportunity for participants to reflect on the best professional trait of Florence Nightingale: courage, leadership, and action. The workshop will be facilitated by Mike Villeneuve, CNA CEO.
The two day workshop will include a mix of didactic lessons and group discussion. To participate, you must be able to attend both days. Participants will be sent material to review prior to the workshop.
Upon completion of the workshop, you will receive a certificate of completion from CARNA. Light breakfast and lunch included.
