Alberta Health sets expectations that CARNA and all health professional regulatory bodies provide professional leadership and education among members to improve infection prevention and control.
RNs are encouraged to review Alberta Health's documents and are expected to adhere to standards that are applicable to their practice. There are three infection prevention and control standards currently in effect:
