Does this change how I do my CCP reporting?
No, you will complete your practice reflection and continuing professional development requirements as usual.
What if I have been required to complete a directed audit?
You will still need to complete a directed audit if you have been notified to do so. Only the annual review has been suspended.
Is this a permanent change?
At this time, the decision only applies to the upcoming renewal. The Competence Committee will re-evaluate the annual review process after renewal.
Why the change?
Upcoming changes to the Registered Nurses Profession Regulation include significant improvements to expand and strengthen the CCP based on member feedback. Temporarily suspending annual reviews will enable us to focus on preparing for those changes.
