Provincial Council is mandated by the Health Professions Act to manage and conduct the business affairs of CARNA. Council consists of 18 members including 13 elected registered nurses (president, president-elect and 11 councillors) and five public representatives appointed by the Minister of Health.

All CARNA members and members of the public are welcome to attend provincial council meetings as Observers on the dates specified above.

At 1100h on Sept. 17, an Open Forum will be held during the Council meeting. This session is an opportunity for Observers to ask questions of Council or staff, raise issues for future consideration by Council, comment on current issues or experiences, or provide feedback on the meeting.
